weekly entry

Hahahhahah...yerp. I think that's the best title for this entry or perhaps the best description for this blog. Update seminggu sekali sahaje. Xde mase maaaaaaaaaaaaaa... harap maaf. Kat Nestle mane leh nak bukak.....kalo boleh pon, mmg xde mase!

I was on medical leave for 2 days due to eye infection. Seumo idop I, x pernah saket mate, so mmg tatau canela rasenye saket mate tue :)). Xde merah ke ape pon. After 3 days in pain.....gi office sume.....I felt really painful pagi Rabu mase bangun nak masak utk Adief. Bukak mate pon saket gile. Then I thought maybe I should see the doctor.

Off I went to my favourite DSH to see my ophthalmologist, Dr. Noraini and she said ade bisul kat belah dalam kelopak mata. She wanted to give me 1 week MC but I said I only want a day. Dia kate sehari xleh.....I asked her for 2 days then. No matter what.....I mesti pegi jugak office Friday tue! Got antibiotics and the eye drops.

Friday, gi office....as expected.... masyaAllah bertimbun tiga2 meja tue ngan invoices! Yerp I use 3 tables hehehhehe. 1 is for me to do my work in front of the pc.... the other 2 pulak, 1 for me to place the new invoices, and the other 1 is for me to place invoice2 yg dah settle before sending it to NBS. Then, a few colleagues came to me and asked me about my health and sungguh x kusangke, they said when I was on medical leave, byk mende tersangkut. Oh bergune jugak aku nie rupenye. Ingatkan xde gune hahahhahahha.

Ok....move on to Adief. I've given him eggs. 1st time was when he turned 1. Based on what I read and advices from experts, started with the egg yolk. Alhamdulillah.... ok jek. Then kalau bagi eggs je, masuk je sume.

Congratulations to Kerol Laling for getting a new job. At least it is something that related to his qualifications. Work well and earn WELL ye sayang so that you can buy me hell lots of handbags, clothes, pumps and etc etc etc.

Just visited our P&C project yesterday and I was really excited to see it! By next week, everything will be ready.

arrrgghhhh! i was scolded by someone at the gym yesterday because she thought i was looking at her. ceh!!!! ok...maybe it was my fault to look at her or to be specific 'the situation'. i know the feeling, Missy! but it was the hoister that caught my attention...not you! to be honest...when the theraphysts brought her in with the hoister and the high-backed wheelchair, i was eager to look at the equipments because it reminds me of 2 years ago. mcm konon2 seronok la tgk...mcm ala2 rindu gitu :)). bukan rindu nak rase tue sume. cume mcm..."aku dulu gitula..."

that lady thought i was loking at her weirdly. ceiiittt!!! her right leg ONLY was covered with a bandage and she was a bit 'lemau' at first. but when she noticed me....pehhhh terus jadik emo x tentu pasal.

Missy: ape pandang2??? awak tak tau rase dia mcm mane! x payahla nak pandang2 heran!
Me: smiled... sorryla....saye bukan pandang awak mcm pelik ke ape. cume saye teringat saye dulu mcm mane je. maybe awak lagi teruk sbb saye dulu ade fractures kat left femur, tapak tangan kiri, sacrum, pelvic, doctor pakaikan pulak external fixator kat pelvic tue pastue saye ade concussion kat left brain SAJE (hahah reverse psychology konon2). sorryla kalo awak x suke org pandang2 sbb saye dulu pon mcm tue. org pandang mcmla kite nie cacat. kene gune hoister, high-backed wheelchair...commode... crutches

Midwife: Alhamdulillah...x lame jek lagi kan dia nak makan dah kan?
Me: Ahad nie makan la....
Midwife: Tahniah ye....
Me: Errrr...tahniah? nape?
Midwife: yela....sbb breastfeed anak exclusively 6 bulan nie...
Me: (hahahha ooooooo...kene tahniah tahniah jugak ke) hehhehe...time kaseh....
Midwife: tapi nie nanti dia mule makan...bg susu formula ke ape sume....Adiyanti janganla stop bf dia ye? teruskanla sampai dia 2 tahun.....
Me: Insya Allah....plan gitu la....
Midwife: susu ok?
Me: alhamdulillah ok...

Received a phone call from DSH yesterday....i mean...3rd phone call from a DSH midwife in the whole 6 mths. all about breastfeeding. and i feel like she gave me an invisible trophy la yesterday hahhahah. yes yes yes...i know...there are a lot of people just like me out there...bf anak ape bagai sume...tue pon nak kecoh. hehehe. sorryla ye. well...this is just my own way to compliment myself....org kate nak sedapkan hati sendirik? nak bg semangat kat diri sendirik? ha gitula...hehehe. rase saket mata.....xyah bace...ye tak?

To be honest I am really REALLY proud of myself! why? because I manage to breastfeed my baby exclusively and take care of him....with my condition. Agak emo sket Adief nak start solids nie...hehhehe... feel like crying whenever dia nak masuk new phase.

Emmm...I think I will miss his poops lah. hahahhahh. mama kate....dia start makan nie nanti....agak masya Allah la jugak...hahhahaha.... xpelaaaaaaaaaaaaa....anak sendirik.....

Talking about his poops...I think he is doing his 'business'. better stop now and get ready with the soap...make sure the water is warm (anak mommy nie menjerit bontot kene air sejuk hahahha)....changing mat..towel....diaper.....

5 mth...

went to DSH this morning.... My darling debab is 7 kg...66 cm tall.... Adief had his 3d dose of pneumococcal, 3rd dose of Hepatitis B, 3rd dose of triple antigen and his 2nd rotavirus vaccination.

Dato' Azizi: kenape pandang atuk mcm tue....?
He stared Dato' Azizi like "bayar hutang ko" hahhaha.
Dato' Azizi: ok...awak pegang kaki dia dengan tangan dia eh....
Me: Dato'...nie nanti dia start solid foods kan.... ade ape2 advice ke?
Dato' Azizi: ok...mai saya ajar mcm mane nak bg dia makan...bla bla bla.. ok...? nie nanti....cucuk lagi mase dia sethn pulak....tapi dia 9 mth nanti...bawakla utk routine check up..... ingat? jangan bagi dia ikan bilis. pasai apa?
Me: (aiseyyyhhhhhh mcm ketua pengawas! soal2 pulak...) sbb x bersih...jemur atas lantai...anjing pijak....bla bla bla...
Dato' Azizi: bagus.....ingat tue. bagi dia salmon...cod...ikan kurau....jgn duk bagi dia ikan kembung, sardine, keli, sembilang tue. x payah bg dia heinz, gerber ke ape sume tue. bg bubur nasi! minggu pertama tue...bg nasik sahaje....xyah taruk ikan ke ape sume. bg dia biase dulu. pastue baru boleh tambah2. ha lagi satu...jgn bagi dia honey. tunggu besar sket baru boleh. kalo sayur...bagila broccoli ka...carrot ka..avocado..boleh? (kat rumah saye ade pokok avocado Dato' hehhehe) nanti saye bagi awak satu website nie utk reference awak. (bebelan utk setgh jam...kebapaan la u nie! )

Adief, my tough young man!

Alhamdulillah...Adief is free from bronchiolitis. Worth it mommy x cukup tido... every 4 hours bagi Adief inhaled obat2 nye...bg Adief makan ubat and so forth. We went to DSH Thursday morning utk follow up.

Dato' Azizi: Nik Adief....oouuhhh werder bremen! dia suke bola la!
Me: Daddy dia kat Bremen....
Dato' Azizi: oooooo.....(checking)... hm....dah x wheezing dah.....sume dah ok.... xyah bg dia ubat dah....tapi simpan jekla alat2 tue sume.... in case ade semule akan datang....bolehla pakai semule....
Me: Alhamdulillah.... ha Dato'... mcm dia fully breastfed kan... xpe ke kalo saye nak amek any pain killers like tramadol ke...?
Dato' Azizi: hm....nak buat apa?
Me: xde...saye dulu bla bla bla.......
Dato' Azizi: hm.... moderate la....sket2 xpe.....
Me: (hm....x elok la tue.....xpela...xyah la amek....saket sket xpela.... mommy sacrifice la utk Adief...)



Yes... my darling Adief is now ok...sehat walafiat! so now I can have my good nights sleep back. hihi.
Anyways....I'm having a very bad lower back ache now. at the sacrum....i guess hehe. Actually Dr. Malik wants to see me again after giving birth aritue....tapi pk2...kalo jumpe skang, buatnye kene masuk ward ke ape... dah satu hal....Adief is fully breastfed...directly....so how maaaa??? I decided to see Dr. Malik bile Adief masuk 6 mth...that is when he can eat solid foods and drink formulas. xpela mommy saket skang..... Abah wants to refer me back to Pantai Medical Centre since I was admitted to that hospital first before DSH. ok ok....sebetulnye... mule2 Naas General Hospital....pastue Tallaght pulak...pastue Pantai...pastue Dsh. sekian tamat. hehehheh. My orthopedist at Pantai, Dr. Gobinder was an intern kepade Mr. John McElwain, my orthopedist back in Dublin. Abah doesn't want me to be 'dirobek' hahahahha. I don't mind actually as long as boleh sehat...bukan boleh nak perfect pon...tapi almost pon jadik la.....nak operate ke ape ke x kesah la... dah malas nak layan saket2 nie...almost 2 years...

Adief's hospitalization

nebulizer

His flu became worse after abang's wedding and his cukur jambul. I was really worried especially when I always heard him wheezing although he was really I mean REALLY active. I called Dsh and made an appointment with Dato' Azizi. Off we went to the hospital. Checked2....Dato' asked his assistant to give Adief nebulization. Pastue checked semule... and confirmed! Adief kene acute brochiolitis. sume gare2 flu and batuk2 yg non stop pastue org ramai duk ciom2 dia angkat dia sume. cane la nak baik flu tue!




kenela masuk ward.... I asked for a single room.... tanak share2 because he is still a baby...sensitive lagi.....tapi full house la pulak....so we went home and waited for the hospital to call us bitau bilik dah ready lom. It was almost 4..but no phone calls came in. I called the hospital and they said there were still no single rooms available. Kalo ade pon...2 bedded. Then I said to the lady that no matter what I still want a single room...any type. Then she said they have suites available for Adief. I said ok... I want that room. So pegila kitorang ke Dsh and registered at the A&E sbb dah kul 5 lebey.... Naik 4th floor and entered the VIP suite 420. Really comfortable...got pantry...living room...dining table..television and toilet.....xdela serabut pale otak yg tgh duk risau nie.

Saje tak bitau sape2 even sedare mare because I dont want any visitors. well... i did tell Hani about it tapi Hani pon dah paham sgt mulut and perangai Adiyanti nie... I simply said to her I dont want any visitors. Kalo setgh org dah kecik ati dah...but that's me. If I said no....no la maknenye....especially mende2 yg berkatian dgn org2 penting dlm idop nie. I dont know and usually i dont really care about jage2 hati org nie kalo hal2 penting. So.....i'm sorry for that. The nurse brought in a baby cot for Adief...so Mommy leh tido kat katil tue.... and daddy? daddy leh buat keje kat living room nye.... Adief had to use the nebulizer every 4 hours.....1 thing about Adief...he is very good in meluahkan phlegm nye.... senang keje bak kate Dato' Azizi. but when it comes to taking medicines....berperanglah jugak. hahahhahhaha. and yes...he likes the nebulizer hehhehe.





Adief nie famous kat ward....nurses suke dukung dia bawak dia round2 satu floor tue. AND! he said 'HI' to everyone! sampaikan org depan cardiac nye tpt yg muke masing2 tgh sedih mcm org berkabung tue pon dia nak tegur. terpaksela org senyum kat dia. hahahhahah.

Khamis discharged.... but I have to use the nebulizer thingy on him at home. aduhhhh banyaknye ubat.....I was a bit serabut at first...x confident sume....I wish Kerol Laling ade :(.....every 4 hours kenela gune nebulizer.....

hari dah discharged tue... Adief tetibe panas je badan! oowww mannnnnn! He cried from 2 p.m. non stop until maghrib. I called Dato' Azizi's hp and told him about Adief. He asked me to bring Adief to the A&E. dia kate kalo demam....stay la kat ward...kalo tak....xyah.... and alhamdulillah Adief was fine.....

yesterday morning was Adief's first time watching his atuk on t.v and he was like eh atukkkkkk!

Neno neno to DSH

As a mommy...of course I dont want anything bad happened to my baby. Dia nanges2 bape ari nie pon dah risau semcm... I decided to bring him to DSH and see his paed.

Dr. Azizi: Nik Adief...kenapeeee?
Me: Nie ha Dato'...dia nanges jek dah 3 ari...pastue flu sket kot sbb bersin byk kali...batuk sket pon ade...pastue drooling jek....bape kali tukar baju.
Dr. Azizi: checking... hm...tekak dia merah sket...tapi nie dah elok dah nie... nyusu tak? gusi dia merah sket nie... amek mase sket nak kuar gigi nie... tue yg nanges sbb saket...tambah lak saket tekak... tapi okla, dia x demam...
Me: Nyusu ok jek...mau jek....
Dr. Azizi: okla tue...as long as dia nak nyusu...active...that should be ok....biasela tue...mak risau....
Me: hehehhehe...mestila risau.....
Dr. Azizi: ok Nik Adief...doctor nak exercise kan sket kaki....
Me: dia suke camtue. hahhahaha. kalo dlm bath tub tue....dia suke la bile buat gitu...mcm berenang lak hahhahah.
Dr. Azizi: tiap-tiap ari buat gini? bagus la camtue....biar dia senaman tiap2 ari... tapi ingat...ambik perhatian....swimming pool kotor tau...so jgn bwk dia masuk swimming pool sampai besar...
Me: aik??? baru plan nak bwk dia 8 month nanti...
Dr. Azizi: parents modern-modern jek yg nak bwk.....x elok...jgn.....kalo u nak bwk sgt...tgk tpt....sunway lagoon tue jgn...kotor...appartment pon x elok....
Me: I plan nak bawak dia KLGCC....ok?
Dr. Azizi: x ramai org ok la...kalo ramai, kotor....tapi elok tunggu besar....just for ur info, skang nie... ramai org tatau...kite tgh teruk dgn typhoid... sume hospital skang hari2 rawat org kene typhoid... so xyahla mkn luar....
Me: so Dato'...dia okla nie?
Dr. Azizi: xda apa.... kalo dia wheezing...xnak nyusu...bwk dia dtg balik... tapi saya bg jugakla ubat... amek bile perlu jek

phewww! alhamdulillah.... Adief got 3 obat-obatan..nose drop..paracetamol... ubat batuk...just in case perlu...

Friday

Went with the whole family for high-tea at Concorde Hotel, Shah Alam to discuss about the wedding with abang soon to be in laws. i straightly approached a staff there and asked her is there any place for me to bf my baby sebagai langkah berjaga2 sebelum dia menjerit. hahahhaha. she told me there is no baby room but I can bf my baby at this lounge yg nampak mcm cozy and they do not open it to public during daytime. i was agak lega to hear that. off we entered the cafeteria to have some food. the parents with the discussion...and i just sat there enjoying my food when suddenly Mr. CEO seemed uncomfortable and started to merengek. ya ya I know.... so i quickly strolled him to the lounge. I was a bit confused at first...where to sit...the safest seat i mean hahahhaha...away from eyes....ok i decided to sit facing the wall...but wait a minute! CARLSBERG??? A BIG carlsberg sign on the wall right in front of me. i was like aihhhh i'm not gonna breastfeed my baby facing that! ape rupe tue?! hahahhahah. i didn't notice that there was a waitress following me all the way from the cafeteria to that place. she approached me..puan nak susukan anak ke? puan boleh susukan anak kat cafeteria tadi...kat upper deck...waktu sekarang mmg kite x open kat orang lagi.... phewwwww! so nice la this girl. i entered the cafetria again...mama looked at me with this kind aikkk takkan sekejap jek look. there i sat on this nice 'sofa' to breastfeed my baby at the upper deck. very the comfortable one! but....ya ya ade but.... this Mr. CEO has an extremely high level of curiosity nowadays.... if he heard any sounds... bunyi nyamuk pun.... or if he saw kelibat org lalu..dia mule la stop...and turn his head....bikin malu mommy jek. i just hoped that there would be no such situations when suddenly a waiter passed by to put napkins on the tables. He stopped sucking and tried to turn his head to see what it was...tangan mule la nak selak2....i was like alahhhh mule dahhhhh! i quickly held his head, keeping him stayed in my blouse :)) and he became really angry. hahahha. he started to tendang2 mommynye like mommy! i want to see it! i dont care! luckily the waiter was really understanding and he didn't come to my area. well...that was my 1st experience bf in public.i thought i want to buy a poncho designed for bf mommies....tapi kalo gini gayenye....sarung guni pon dia selak jugak. even at home.... if my stomach menghasilkan bunyik2 kelaparan...dia buat mende same jugakkkkk. all sounds and figures! be it the tv....atuk's voice...the cats... the FAN.... pasang lampu....or whatever it is he will definitely stop sucking...turn his head...selak2.....

Saturday

Mr. CEO slept at 5.30 a.m. :((. I had to stay up together with him...entertained him the whole night....nyanyi? bersembang? menari? (don't get me wrong...bukan menari dia berdiri ahhahahh i had to hold his hands while he lied on the bed and moved/shaked our bodies together...btw, we dance together everyday ahhahhah)

Sunday

Lepak2 amek angin, tgk pokok2 and the cats with atuk outside the house.

Monday

Went to the DSH earlyyyy in the morning and phewwww!! for the 1st time....dpt booked turn utk jadik 1st patient for the day.... but of course we had to wait 2 hours for the doctor to come since the clinic starts at 10.30 a.m. everyday. Adief siap berbual dgn Dr. Azizi :)). ntah ape dia ckpla kan..tapi Dr. Azizi layan je dia.... he even said Adief nie macho in the Ferrari romper. hahahhaha. Adief got 2 jabs today....and as usual... auta jek lebey....jerit sket punye kuat mase jarum masuk...jarum kuar jek terus senyap. He said Adief is healthy and he is perfectly in a good condition. phewwww! mau taknye....mommy and tok ma mesti buat operasi men'service' Adief tiap kali nak jumpe doctor sbb Dato' Dr. Azizi is known as a doctor with a lot of comments kalau dia tgk parents x uruskan baby elok2..rashes 2-3 ketul pun xleh. he asked me to continue bf Adief so that he will stay healthy. we even talked about current issues such as the swine flu, medical students yg xnak balik and the kes panas skang pasal doctors and org besar nie.... ok... Adief's progress:

Newborn: 2.89kg, 49c.m., BCG + Hepatitis B 1st dose
1 month: 3.5kg, 53c.m., Hepatitis B 2nd dose
2 month: 4.9kg, 60c.m., Triple antigen 1st dose + pneumococcal vaccine + rotavirus
3 month: 5.9kg, 62c.m., Triple antigen 2nd dose + pneumococcal vaccine

suspenseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee jek!

I received a phone call from DSH yesterday evening. I was really shocked and nak gugur sket jantung. Dlm pale terbayang result pap smear tue salah. I also received the same phone call last month. but i wasn't terrified ka...shocked ka... tertanye2 ka...apa ka at that time because i thought it might be something about the bill. tapi kali nie mmg cuak. yalaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...just did the pap smear test.... cetttttt! it was the same phone call like last month. It was a phone call from DSH Maternity Ward. The midwife, just like last month, asked me still bf anak lagi tak. and then she asked me whether i had any difficulties ka...any questions to ask regarding bf ka...apa ka... phew!!! lega! ingatkan ape la.... hm..anyways...rase mcm kene soal dgn pengawas lak. hahahhah. i'm sure if i said tak kak...dah x nyusukan anak lagi dah..... sure dah x call lagi! hahahhaha. plus...mesti berceramah sket about the benefits of breastfeeding. dont worry midwives...Adief still demands for his Mommy's 'cocktail'.

Milk shake

Another info for ladies…..hailahhhhhh…tanye aku mcmla aku dah ade anak 18 hahahhaha. Ok….here are the things that I need (for bf)

Breast pump- Medela

Nipple gel- Kerol Laling bought Lansinoh for me….well…it is very effective…I heard medela purelan pon bagos gak…

Bottles- medela, dr. brown

Nursing support pillow- Bumble Bee ( I used it for 1 month only…Adief belom lasak that time, up to u anyway)

Lot of small napkins- nak lap2 mulut baby…leaking agik…

Nursing bras

I don’t drink milkmaid tea….but I drink Biodex supreme diet bile ganti puase. They said it helps to increase milk production. And I still take pramilet and caltrate+vitamin D.

Didn't buy any creams or lotions for milk rashes since Adief has no problem with that.

No massages (plans cancelled since ‘kilang’ xde masalah)

Milk storage bottles- didn’t buy any….i just use hadiah2 org bagi jek…hehehheh…penjimatan di situ.

I plan to buy fridge-to-go…to keep the milk cold kalo gi mane2….not now….dekat2 abang kawen nanti.

Oh ya! I got scolded by mama early this morning after giving bath to Adief. She said "Ya Allah.....tgk nie abah. punyela x sabar! anak kecik lagi!". hehheheh. know why? sbb pakaikan Adief baju Esprit Kerol Laling belikan yg mcm ala...tatau ape namenye...yg mcm tshirt lengan panjang mcm pakai 2 lapis tue....and jeans siap kene lipat sket, tue yg mama kate x sabar. plus rambut dia yg spikey tue....tambah lagi pakaikan cologne...baby cologne jekla. hm.... i wonder...baby ade watch tak? hahahhahah. if i tied him a bandana pon kool gak. :)). Aaaahhhhh I love doing this kind of 'job' :)).

Adief & Mommy

Monday 6th April 2009

Adief had his appointment with Dr. Azizi for his 2nd dose of triple antigen, pneumococcal vaccine and rotavirus vaccine. My darling is now 4.9kg compared to last month 3.5kg, 60cm tinggi...last month 53cm.... During the procedure he cried sgtlah kuat! hahahhaha. kiri kanan peha kene cucuk. Everybody looked at me and smiled when I stepped out. hahahahha. buat malu mommy jek!

Met kak aina (akak dorm mase kat mozac) or should i call you kak dr. aina? hahhahahha. she was with her husband and their baby who was born on 5th February 2009. muda 3 days dr Adief. It was their first appointment with Dr. Azizi sbb paed baby tue kat Prince Court Medical Centre sebenonye since she was born there. tapi tukar DSH sbb kak aina nak mintak mak dia jagekan bile dia pegi keje....so dekat sket.

Today I had my appointment with Dr. Noraini...the ophthalmologist. She said that several nerves are damaged due to the concussion on my brain. But she didnt recommend me any procedure...katenye mude agik...baik xyah....but it takes time la..... tapi dia kate...I can drive! yayyyyy!!!

After that... went to see Dr. Maziah lak to do the pap smear thingy and the contraceptive thingy... I hate pap smear! x saket...but very the uncomfortable la :(
The implanon procedure took less than 2 minutes. it was painless...tapi agak ngeri la tgk procedure nye...naseb dah bius! The result of the pap smear will be sent to me via sms...

Alahai.....merengek pulak si debab nie.... xleh tgk mommy ngadap laptop! ok...gtg....enjoy these pics ya!

Adief's 1st unofficial outing

Yes! Now I can surf the internet. hahhaahah. My little monster is now sleeping soundly on the bed.

Hm...2 weeks ago... i was caught red handed by mama while pouring the air sirap sejuk into my mug. hahahhahahahhh. and to my surprise.....she didnt scold me! phewww! she even allowed me to eat sambal telur...ikan keli....sup tulang...etc...except udang and sotong last night. before that, she asked me whether i have gatal2 or saket2 problems after curik2 minum 7 up and makan paru goreng hahahhaha and i said no. yerp...alhamdulillah no pains and itchiness since the operation....lagikpon....Dr. Maziah said org kite jek yg pantang strict sgt....hahahhahaha. they gave me juices, cold soy milk, delicious food at DSH. pehhhh....if I were rich....mmg duk sepital sepanjang berpantang nie. hahahhaha.

I love cuddling my baby....watching him sleeping...sejuk jek hati. I stil remember the very first time I looked at my baby in the OT. The nurse brought him closer to my cheek and let him kissed his mommy. besarrr mate dia terkebil2 mase nurse ckp "niela mak...". Now.. he will stare at me when I tell him stories yg rasenye dia x paham pon. hahahhahah. Kerol Laling is not here :(...so Adief jekla jadi tpt mommy dia nak ckp... I told him how his mommy and daddy met each other....Thanks to Friendster hahahhaa....why daddy kene balik Germany...told him everything about the 6 years long distance relationship..since kenal sampaila skang. to be honest, maybe i'm not as strong as some of you out there....but having Adief....makes me stronger and sabar jek walopon Kerol Laling asek takde. call me jiwang or whatever..like i care! hahhahaha.

Adief is a big boy now...though sometimes he's a bit ngade2(no la...bukan mengade, saje nak gesel2 je) nak manje2 especially bile dengar suare tok mama dia.... dia dah ade sleeping pattern dia dah... he will automatically wake up every 2 hours for bf at nights without nanges2 melalak, just gelak2 je. oh ya! adief nie masya Allah...lasak gile kalo tido! berpusing2 mcm jam! kejap pale kat bantal....x lame pastue dah beralih ke dinding...pastue dah jadi kaki pulak kat bantal.

one more thing...Adief suke main air liur! takkan cepat sgt! yela....org tua2 kate...once the baby likes to blow bubbles from his mouth....get ready la mommy....rambut baby akan gugur, as well as rambut mommy, gigi nak tumbuhla tue. that's what happening now.....rambut adief byk dah kat bantal dia and me too! but isn't it too early? hm....xpela...we'll see.....kalo x betul...kene tukar shampoo la! hahahhaha.
oh ya! this little monster of mine....xde ubun2! hahahhaha. lahir2 dah keras. xde lentok2 jugak. even the midwife said...oooooo baby u nie keras eh! hahhahaha. x pandan dgn kecik!

Went to DSH this morning for Adief's 1st appointment with his paed as an outpatient. Masya Allah... we had to wait almost 3 hrs baru jumpe doctor. There were so many people! Anyways..Dato' Dr. Azizi was very gentle, kind and funny. He even gado2 dgn mama sape lagi tua hahahhahha. Adief got his 2nd dose of Hepatitis B immunisation. Dr. Azizi asked me to hold his leg and the moment he cucuk itu jarum...Adief screamed his lungs out. x nanges..tapi jerit skalik tue jek. terkejut ape budak nie hahahhaha. pastue senyap....hahahahaha. He is currently 53cm and 3.5kg compared to 49cm and 2.89kg a month ago. Dr. Azizi said...his weight should be around 3.9kg by now.... aik??? menyusu punye byk anak mommy naik x banyak??? hahahhahhaha. other than that...alhamdulillah he's doing fine.. Dr. Azizi terbalikkan dia, dia bertungkus lumus angkat2 pale. hahahhaha. soooo cute! opppsss....dia dah jage!

10 days left

I miss him already :(... i miss him moving around in my belly... i miss him stretching....his hiccups...everything about my baby! i'm gonna miss my belly(mcmla confirm kurus balik hahah)....all the pains.... the nausea...

10 days to go... i'll be admitted to the hospital on 1st February 2009 and Mr. Kerol Laling will be accompanying me throughout my stay in the hospital (tue pon kalo dia x cabut la hahhah). the operation is scheduled on 2nd February 2009, early in the morning.

so peeps.... Kerol Laling will update more about the operation, the baby and of course me after this. do pray for us.....

My final pregnancy check up with Dr. Maziah went like aik dah nak habis dah????? Betul ke nie???? Rase mcm baruuuu jek kejut Kerol Laling and showed him the 2 lines on the pregnancy test kit.

Me: hm….hhehehehe….mcm tue la…

Dr. Maziah: hahhahah…xpe….sket sgt2 je lagi….lepas tue insya Allah u can hold your baby dah…. Hm…. U ok ke nie? U tension ye…?

Dr. Maziah: berat u.....same jek.... hopefully baby punye berat naikla.... ok come....kite scan…

My little prince is now 2.48kg (300+g increased)at 34 weeks 2 days and he's doing fine. Alhamdulillah.... Dr. Maziah was kinda shocked when she looked at my hands and my feet. She quickly checked my bp and alhamdulillah bukan high blood pressure.

My darling baby is now 2.1kg and the head is 24cm at 32 weeks 2 days....as usual...xleh duk diam hehhehe. he is very active mcm ape yg doctor kate la....and today i got another obat to be taken everyday but this is for the baby, the NeuroGain PB.... total of 3...pramilet, caltrate and now neurogain pb.

Helloooooooo mommy's boy!!! you r soooo big now. alhamdulillah.....great! he is now 1.67kg at 30 weeks 1 day compared to last appointment...1.06kg at 26 weeks. dr. maziah said.... alhamdulillah....dia punye growth normal.... and bile dah calculate2....berat dia nanti maybe plus minus 3.6kg! wowwww. so biggie anak mommy nie! hahahhahah. no wonder mommy seksa gile nak jalan skang.... dengan kaki yg belom fully recovered lagi.... hahahaha it's ok sayang..... mommy enjoys carrying you around!

room 'makeover'

hahahhah...nope....i just removed the furnitures and other stuffs so adela tpt utk crib. the main problem is... the air-cond in my room ngadap direct kat sume tpt dlm bilik tue. so i dont know where to place the crib nanti. okla....kalo x on pon.... kipas.....that's another problem. kipas tue betul2 tgh bilik. my room is quite small.... letak tepi xleh.... letak mane2 pon mmg sejukla baby tue nanti. poor my baby...:(....

i've put all the baby's clothes into satu container ni. pastue....pack barang2 masuk dlm bag siap2 dah....mama yg suruh....in case emergency nak kene gi sepital..... in case la... mintak2 xdela...

had a discussion with a neighbour. she was a midwife kat Pusrawi. omg.... i thought c-sec nie senang jek... relax2...tau2 baby dah uwaa uwaaa.... rupenye tak! cettttt....

Unscheduled C-sections are usually performed by doctors when complications arise form vaginal delivery.

Scheduled Caesarean Section - me!
Caesarean sections often scheduled if there are problems that have been identified earlier like conditions that create a higher-risk pregnancy and may require Caesarean delivery include:

* Placenta previa
The placenta partially or completely covers the cervical opening to the birth canal or vagina.
* Breech birth
The baby is positioned with the buttocks or feet first instead of the usual head-down position
* Multiple pregnancies
Two or more babies are developing at the same time. Some twin pregnancies can be born vaginally, but Caesarean section usually is done when three or more babies are expected.
* Previous surgery on the uterus
This includes certain types of Caesarean section, especially those involving a vertical incision, also known as a classical incision. Prior removal of large or multiple fibroids from the wall of the uterus can weaken the walls, making Caesarean section necessary.
* Maternal illness
This includes conditions such as heart disease or diabetes
* Preeclampsia and eclampsia (toxemia of pregnancy)
Symptoms include severe high blood pressure, protein in the urine and seizures

Usually, women undergoing a scheduled Caesarean section are not allowed to have anything to eat or drink after midnight the day before surgery.

1. Just before surgery, an intravenous line (IV) will be placed into a vein. It will be used to deliver medications, fluids and, if needed, a blood transfusion during surgery.

2. Wires connected to heart-monitoring equipment will be attached to your chest, and a blood pressure cuff will be placed on your upper arm. You will be given extra oxygen to breath through a mask, and an oxygen monitoring device will be placed on your finger.

3. Doctors usually prefer to use regional anaesthesia for Caesarean sections. Regional anaesthesia means that you remain awake while an area of your body is made numb for your surgery.

4. Incision will be done when the anaesthesia is working.

5. A low, horizontal skin incision is made in the abdomen at or just above the pubic hairline. Sometimes a vertical incision is required; especially if an emergency Caesarean surgery is done.

6. After the abdomen is opened, the bladder is protected and the uterus is opened. The incision in the uterus also may be horizontal and low in the uterus, or it may be vertical. A vertical incision is preferred when a larger uterine incision is needed. For example, this may be required for twins, a large baby or a baby in a breech position. The bag of waters is broken, the baby is removed, and the umbilical cord is clamped and cut. The time from the beginning of surgery to delivery of the baby generally is less than 10 minutes. Once the baby is delivered, it can take another 30 to 40 minutes to remove the placenta and close the uterus and abdomen with stitches or staples. The entire surgery usually takes just under an hour.

8. If there is no postoperative problems off your room. You might experience nausea and headaches but those will soon go away after some time. Do not be overly worried.

Post operative procedures The doctor will suture the incision after making sure there is no bleeding in the peritoneum and the uterus is firm. He/she will use a sponge to remove any clots inside the abdomen. Different doctors may use different suture style, stitches, staplers, etc

Suturing the incision The bladder catheter will usually be removed within several hours of delivery, and you will be encouraged to walk and begin to drink fluids. If staples were used to close the incision, they generally are removed within one week. Stitches may either dissolve or need to be removed within a week. During the first few weeks after a Caesarean section, you will be told not to carry anything heavier than the baby.

There are several choices for pain relief during labour. These include:

1. Intravenous (I.V.) Medication

Pain-relieving medications that are injected into a vein or muscle will help dull pain but may not eliminate it completely. These IV medications are usually prescribed by your obstetrician. Because they sometimes make both you and your baby sleepy, they are used mainly during early labour.

2. Local Anaesthesia

Other pain-relieving medications may be injected in the vaginal and rectal areas by the obstetrician at the time of delivery. Theses are local anaesthetics, which provide a numbness or loss of sensation in a small area (e.g. during an episiotomy).

3. Epidural anaesthesia

Anaesthetic is injected in the back into the lining of the spinal cord, which makes the mother feel numb from the waist down. This option provides pain relief for vaginal delivery, or allows the mother to stay awake and alert during the baby's birth by caesarean section. Since an epidural may cause the mother's blood pressure to drop, it is not recommended for women with low blood pressure or a bleeding placenta.

Recovery from C-section takes longer than a vaginal birth as it is a major surgery.

I know that there are 3 types of pain relief offered kat DSH. The epidural.. pethidine jab and laughing gas... but my neighbour yang bersalin last year at DSH kate.... derang mmg terus bg epidural kalo c-sec... the problem is....boleh ke with my condition nie? hm...need to ask Dr. Maziah la.... sbb... i have screws at my sacrum or to be exact...my end of spine...hahahahha...x terkene ke nanti? hahhahah. ala...x kesah pon mane2....janji sume selamat...ye tak? ikot jekla pape pon doctor ckp....

oh ya! mama said we need to bring toto utk Kerol Laling nanti hehehheh. kalo x... dia nak tido mane kat sepital? i'm not really sure DSH nie cane... but when I was at PMC mase mule2 balik mesia dulu...they gave mama kusi yg boleh buat utk tido nie....not a sofa bed la....mcm je...senang citer kusi lipat la.. hm...i'm quite sure that they dont provide anything for husbands kat DSH. A friend of mine also brought a toto for her husband mase bersalin kat DSH dulu. so...kene bwk la kot ek? dulu....pernah tunggu mama kat DSH before kawen. dia hospitalised mase tue. tapi... that was ape suite ntah. so adela sofa in that room. mmg best la bilik tue. me? hahahhah. i'm not gonna ask for suite2 nie....tapi kalo ade org nak bayarkan.... u r most welcome! but i really want a single room la... Dr. Maziah's assistant said that rooms at the maternity ward mcm goreng pisang panas. cepat penuh and cepat jugak org discharge. hm..... mintak2 dpt la....i dont mind to share the room kalo xde baby....nie dah ade baby....sian my baby nanti....:(...x comfortable.

NOTES FROM A MOMMY TO BE P.3

This morning we went to DSH for the last time together. As usual….ultrasound…. omg! He wasssss soooooooooooo nakal goyang sane goyang sini sampai dr. maziah pon mengeluh. Alalalalalalalalala xleh duduk diam yeee anak mommyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. I asked for another 3d scan or to be exact the 2nd trimester’s 3d scan just because I want kerol laling to bring it back to Germany. Leh la dia tgk our son slalu leh bg semangat sket. Cheee wah!

Every visit adeee jek mende baru. Just name it. Today…dr. maziah noticed that my left leg is smaller than my right leg. This is due to I put more weight on my right leg sbb itu kaki kiri still saket. Aiiyyyooooo. She said I have to do something to get it back to normal sbb dia kate nanti susah masa bersalin.

So….she suggested me to go to the rehab centre..again! rasenye dah bape bulan dah x pegi situ….hm…since pregnant la. Bukan nak buat physio mcm sebelom ni…. That was too heavy for me la kan now nie….. just to do treatments for preggie ladies like me sbb nak kuatkan lagi kaki kiri atau lebih tepat lagi membesokan lagi kaki kiri. I also need to wear a maternity belt to support my back. Off we walked to the rehab centre…. One of the staffs asked me to go inside a room to try on the belt sbb nak tau size.

At first she thought ini perot baru 3-4 bulan….. aikkkkkk ingatkan dah cukup beso! Bile dah tau 5 months…. She gave me one belt, size s, to try on sbb that brand cume ade size s … ok muat…. And then I tried another brand….hahhahaha longgar gilee! Beso sket…. yela….manela tau nanti beso kan…. The main problem is…. Dia ade penyangkut tau…. Tujuan nye nak sangkut atas perot… tapi x tersangkut pon! Hahahhahaha. Dia kate…normally kalo dah 5 months pon longgar lagi…. Sampai ke 9 pon la xkan beso mane… hm..we’ll see….All this while I thought my tummy dah cukup besoooo dah even before pregnant! So I bought the first one…. And the physiotherapy will start after hari raya….

So far…. these are my perkembangan dlm ini pregnancy…:

5 months- pramilet fa…caltrate…..cuplaton…. 1kg increased…..morning sickness…. Back pains… kaki sume saket… maternity belt… physiotherapy…..ultrasound… 2nd trimester’s 3d ultrasound… 1st kick from him…

Kerol laling managed to feel him alive inside of my not so beso tummy (my gynae and physiotherapist yg ckp okkkkkkk). At first x dpt rase…. But then I said to our baby…. NOTES FROM A MOMMY TO BE P.2

Maybe it is too early for me to think about it…. But who
cares??? Just a preparation. Ok…went to the hospital this morning….maybe today
is the last visit…with my husband. Anyways… alhamdulillah the baby is doing great owhhhh ade one more visit

Quite nervous tapi x sabar pon ye gak to hear his 1st
cry. I know that I have to get ready with the painful labor……but hopefully what
my orthopedists baik Dublin, baik mesia, said sumenye ok for me. Few weeks before I had a bad lower back pain.
Sangatlah saket. To be specific….dekat sacrum yg patah riuk tue. So I went to
see my orthopedist and he gave me some injections at my lower spine since dia
xleh nak bertukang kat my tulang2 sbb tgh pregnant. Sgtlah saket itu
injections. I don’t dare to ask him what kind of injections though he warned me yg injections tue mmg amatlah saket but he said it’s very strong and very effective. X sampai seminit terus numbbbbbbb jek rase.

Ok… maybe it’s a good practice for me hehheheheh…yela….. I’m
thinking of the epidural mase nak bersalin nanti. They said that’s the best.
Procedure nye same je….so I hope that experience membantula nanti….. have to
get ready with:

1) induce tablet via v*****

2) contractions

3) epidural? Laughing gas? pethidine jab?
the choices of relief method in childbirth available in Damansara Specialist.

4) C-section? Mintak2 normal…amin….. tapi x kesahla
cane pon….asalkan sume selamat…..

To be honest….mmgla sgt2 x sabar….tapi I’m not the type yg
nak shopping sakan awal2…. Tunggu jekla kan? Kalo nak beli brg pon….paling awal
8 bulan ke atas. X lari pon kedai2 tue….. hehheheh.

As usual…ultrasoud….and wowww! He was sooooo active moving
around. Alallalalallallalallalalla comelnye dia terkejut dgn pressure mende
alah ultrasound tue…..

Ok…time to visit the toilet again. Adoiiiiiiilah. Penat lah!
