I'm spoiled

Mama cooked for us the yummy kari udang. I've been super duper in love with kari udang since forever. BUT! I'm spoiled you know! Since I was a little girl... Mama or Abah mesti buangkan kulit for me to eat it :)). Crabs pun! And now I'm married.... so that duty goes to.... Kerol Laling! Hehehe. Believe it or not... I never kupas buah manggis too! Hahahhahahha.

Every night before I go to sleep....I need someone to scratch my back. My parents used to do that. So now Kerol Laling has to scratch my back :P. I can see that maybe one day Adief will do that job since Adief tido mesti peluk Mimi (that's how he calls me). Cume tangan je lom sampai belakang Mimi.

I used to sleep with my parents from a baby until SPM :)). Tolak la mase sekolah......duk hostel. Tapi time cuti tido bilik derang gak hahhahah. Not because I was afraid to sleep in my own room (my changing room then), they made me sleep in their room!

Well....I'm a very very very overprotected daughter/sister/wife and I'm thankful for that. Dulu2 rase tension jugak itu ini x boleh. I never went lepak2 at nights mase kat MMU walaupon duk hostel. Kalo ade pon... mesti text Mama bitau nak kuar walaupon mase tue kul 2 pagi. Kalau hari2 lain....mesti balik before 8 p.m. Even when I used to hang out with Kerol Laling when we were still unmarried... mesti duk tgk jam...bile la nak balik nie :)). So not romantic! Dahla org tue balik Malaysia jarang2 :)). But now? I can't be away from him.

I don't drink...I don't smoke... I never go to night clubs even deep in my heart teringin nak at least jejak kaki sesaat :)). Tapi sampai dah beranak pon x jejak2 :)). It's okla... at least Kerol Laling teman me dancing dalam bilik and Adief loves to dance with me since he was still lembik2 lagi :)). Come to think of it... I think my parents had done a very good job! Orang slalu pk orang bandar nie....teruk...kurang didikan agama... and untuk selitkan sikit hal2 keibuan hahah, ramai orang pk orang bandar nie x breastfeed anak. Orang bandar nowadays la yang paling ramai breastfeed anak exclusively. Xde nak bg susu tepung nie. My baby also still drinks my breast milk....no formula yet. I only give him Pediasure baru bape hari... tue pon bukan utk minum.... buat cicah ngan roti. Chocolate flavor punye. Xpela....introduce sket2 sebelom kerja. Yes i know... Pediasure tue utk 1 tahun hingga 10 tahun. Adief is going to 1 year in less than a month so I think he is fit enough to take Pediasure. Xde constipation ke ape pun...alhamdulillah.

My baby calls me Mimi... Kerol Laling as Didi... Mama as Mama (Tok Ma) and Abah as Ata (Atuk). But sometimes he calls us by "heyyyy heyyyyy" :)). It's good to see his developments and sedar tak sedar dah nak setahun dah bersalin rupenye :). I pray to Allah that my baby will grow up as anak yang solleh, baik, sihat, beriman kepade Allah and taat kepade Kerol Laling and I.

Mertua vs. menantu

Yerp...ibu metua vs. menantu aka. Mama vs. Kerol Laling aka. N.9 vs. Kelantan. My mom is from Negeri Sembilan while my husband is from Kelantan. As you all know...yesterday was the Piala Malaysia final. Both Mama and Kerol Laling kept sms-ing each other sakat menyakat :)). Me? I kate...sape score dulu dia yang menang. Why? Because we...Malaysian....mmg dah famous sgt dengan cepat lemah semangat. Tgk2...mmg betul pon...N.9 yang menang.

Kerol Laling went to Bukit Jalil to watch the game while the rest of us just stayed and watch it from home. After the first goal...Mama texted Kerol Laling and asked him to come home earlier instead of duduk jek kat stadium tue. Abang pon text Kerol Laling jugak...and me too :P. Ok...to make it short...these are some of the sakat menyakat (last night n today):

1) Traffic light kat junction nak gi OU rosak....Abah: Hish...nie mesti org Kelantan yang rosakkan nie....

2) Billboard dekat dgn DSH roboh, remuk, hancur, tercampak seberang jalan...Mama: Nie mesti org Kelantan yang lanyak nie

3) Kerol Laling: Xpe bah...Kelantan nak cup yang kecik...yang besar susah nak bwk blk, banjir2 nie. Abah: Laaaaa org nak cup besar la...leh buat perahu...

4) After the first goal....Me: Bang...balik jela bang...leh tido awal sket (because the whole family plans to go out for breakfast the next morning)

5) Kerol Laling wore a red t-shirt yesterday....Abah: Kerol mesti habis game balik rumah x pakai baju. Mama: Pakai....tapi t-shirt kuning...dia simpan dlm pocket seluar buat spare.

6) Abah: Tgk Kelantan main semlm, same b**** mcm Manchester City main semlm.

9 mth Adief

You are a 9 mth baby boy, sayang and I'm so proud to have one wonderful baby like you. Alhamdulillah his paed said that he is a perfect baby. Sume ok. So... we'll see you again when he is 1, ok Dato'? When I told him that Adief does not drink any formula milk and he only eats home cooked porridge, he said "Tue dia pandai la tue....Dia cume nak yg natural". Aminnn I always pray that you will be a smart boy... as smart as your daddy and as brilliant as your atuk. As usual....Dato' mulelah berceramah pasal suruh bagi makanan yg dimasak sendiri....jgn bagi walker...walker diharamkan di Australia... belajar tgk muka anak untuk tau anak tue ok ke tak....bla bla bla.

He knows how to do high 5! Walopun kadang dia buat gak perangai buat dek dia. And he likes to do the baaa chak himself :)) (in this case, selimut Tok Ma yg dia amek tutup muke dia). Once in a while, dia hulur la tangan nak salam bile ckp salaaammm shake handddds.

He likes to play with mommy's laptop or daddy's instead of playing his own laptop. Suke nyibuk! He also likes to play with the remotes...name it! Remote tv? Aircond? Kereta? Gate? Sampaikan Tok Ma terpakse carik remote lame2 bagi dia main. But he's not stupid! Dia tau xde function... dia xnak main! Handphones toksah kate lah kan. One thing about this cheeky monster, he can easily get bored. Xyahla buang duit belikan dia toys byk2. Main 2-3 minutes..campakla tepi. Yang dia nak main ngan remotes jugak! Kadang habis setting utk aircond berubah. Last time... he changed the temperature to 16 degrees! We were like....ape sejuk semcm nie? Once...he changed it to 30 degrees and no wonder the room was so warm.

I love taking care of my baby on my own. Now I know what to do when he has fever, flu etc. Our favourite Dato' Azizi has taught me a lot! Gracias! He gave me all the necessary medicines as well as the equipments needed when Adief was 4 month, that was when he got the acute bronchiolitis. Pasni kalo Adief flu sket ke ape ke, gune je tue sume unless dia wheezing. Tue kene bawak jumpe doctor lah. I just want to be a good mother to my baby just like mama. She took care of me 2 1/2 months in Dublin. Just imagine... husband xde...kene stay dgn budak2 muda (don't get me wrong guys. She likes you all hehe)...kat tempat org pulak tue...kene jage anak yang accident kat hospital...bulan puase...Ok fine. Maybe ade yg lagi teruk but I really respect my mom. She's a real good mother instead of tau beranak je (bahasa kasar)She took care of us all alone when Abah was away in Ghana. She came back for good earlier. A good mother will do anything for her child, right? Xde nak kate x reti...takut...bukan kuase and all that. Nak seribu daya...I always pray to Allah that I can be like her.

3 months to go before your 1st birthday sayang and I'm so looking forward to the special day. Have lotsa plans for that day. Gonna make it a really big celebration for u (xdela besar gile...saje exaggerate je...) I just want you to be a good son and make us proud of you. Insya Allah...

Glasses+Pink+Jasa

I soooo want IC! Berlin. Adief akhirnye berjaye rosakkan glasses mommy after so many trials. Therefore I need to get a new pair of glasses that is definitely
kuat jitu dan padat :)). Xdela padat hahahah. My A***** has been repaired anyway but I still need to get a new one. I like the IC! Berlin. I found one at One Utama. With no screws and all that, I think it is very nice with sleek design and light weighted too. But a lady will always be a lady hehe. Rambang mata. Finally I chose Silhouette and that means this is my 3rd glasses since last year and I don't know yg ke berape sejak pakai glasses. Pembaziran sungguh! I think it's a trend lah in this family. Haha. Tukar power jek...kene tukar frame :)). Macamlah xleh tukar lens jek. But this time, it's not about the power. I lost my G**** last year when I worked for Deloitte. Kat Wichuda. It was my mistake anyway. Gatal sangkut kat shirt. Mmgla x sedar ntah bile jatuh.

My son is getting lasak n lasak now. Dulu sket2...skang Masya Allah. X kesahla tgh tido ke tgh jage. 24/7 lasak n bising! I like to see him laughing or smiling while sleeping. So cute and funny! Hahahhah. He will conquer the whole bad! Be it his crib, mommy's queen size bed or atuk's king size bed. Relax je dia tido pusing sane sini mcm2 gaya!

Next story... Yesterday mama went to DSH for her monthly blood test before the appointment with her doctor. While waiting for her turn, there were a family of 3 sitting beside her. Husband n wife...and a mother. Tataula mak yg husbandnye ke wifenye. They were talking to each other in East Coast dialect. Mama was unsure whether derang nie Kelantan ke Teregganu. Mama pun dengar jekla ape derang cakap when suddenly the husband said something that made Mama smiled and automatically tau la org mane :)). Husband: Pink number ade?
Kerol Laling and I laughed when Mama told us about it. I didn't understand at first but then...ooooo pin number...org Terengganu la ehhhhhh :)).

Next...Abah is out. He has to attend Jasamu Dikenang ceremony at PWTC. It is TM annual event untuk org2 habis contract pencen ape bagai sume so Abah kene bgla sijil2 ape sume. Abah pon retire this coming November. After serving for TM for 30 years, I think you shoud stay at home and have a good rest. Or perhaps you can start your professional golf career :)). After graduated from Brighton, he worked for Jabatan Telekom...pastue privatized...when I was 12, we moved to Sarawak as he was appointed as the GM there...when I was in Mozac, my parents moved to Ghana as Abah was appointed as the MD of Ghana Telecom. X pernah keje company lain except TM. X boring eh bah? Hehe. I guess it's time for you to spend more time at home lah!

Ok...that's all for today. Penat membebel and ini budak nakal sudah korek2 laptop mommy. Laptop sendirik xnak lak korek!. Ok peeps...buhbye!!!

Eid Mubarak P.1

We are back! fuh!!! sungguh penat! ok..mari kite mulekan! ari jumaat tue....abang n kak eijad tido umah..... pagi tue sahur ramai2...termasuklah adief! hahahhaha. Adief nie ikot sahur 1st ramadhan ngan last :)). kul 9.30...sent our maid to her aunt' place...kul 10, sent our cats for boarding.... gedebak gedebuk gerak ramai2....xdela ramai mane pon...2 cars jek :P. Pak Tam dah gerak awal sket and Mak Tam did the charity work by msging us informing us about the traffic. hahhahahah. mmg MasyaAllah!. sepanjang2 tue la jam! biase paling lame pon 4 hrs nak sampai....but we took 6 hrs to arrive at our destination! sampai2...checked in....mandi, solat JQ....off we went to the village. ketupat sume dah siap masak...ayam golek, daging merah, sepat, murtabak pisang and more! bukak pose....and the boys (including bapak2) played mercun.

dekat2 midnight...off we went back to the hotel....tidoooooo. esok pagi...the men went for sembahyang raya...kami2 bersiap....mandikan Adief...melaram2 sket :))....buat teh, minum2... balik jek derang, maka bermulelah sesi bermaaf2an di bilik mama. hahahhaha. lepas tue, turun lobby, Pak Tam sume dah tunggu. amek gambar family lak, Pak Tam amekkan...then we went straight away to the village.

B and C in the house!

Yayyy! My parents are back from their 'honeymoon' hahaha..andddddddd they bought us sooooo many cooooolll stuffs! errr at least they are cool enough for me :P. I asked them to get me a big shoulder handbag that has enough space for 2-3 diapers, 1 baby wipes, 1 baju si bulat nie and my must-have items. But....they got me 2! yayyyy! Now I have 1 B******* and 1 C***** untuk dibuat melaram. hahahhaha. Abah bought for me 1 big C**** handbag when I was still pregnant and Kak Sue gave me OiOi. Oh byk sungguh bags untuk dibuat melaram. That's the joy of being a mommy! hehehe. They also bought us...the whole family...abang, kak eijad, Kerol Laling, Nabil, Adief and I a few other things. Hm...pegila honeymoon lagi! hahaha.

p/s: I can smell the scents of happiness... Mr. MH, please bring back my husband safely.

bikin mommy cuak saje!

cetttt! suspense sungguh! i washed and sterilized all his spoons, bowls and bottles. konon preparation bersungguh2 lah kan. Then...I asked our maid to wash the food processor.... and when I wanted to test it...aikkkk???? xmo gerak??? i was like ala janganlah buat hal....esok nak gune nie....yes i know...i should have tested it earlier... i asked abah to have a look...manela tau kot salah pasang ke ape kan....sume ok....xdak ape salah pon. finally...mama said...suruh kerol la repair balik nanti.... kalo engineer yg nie amek electronics....barang electronic dia tau la kot hahhahaha...kerol electrical.... suh dia repair...anak dia nak makan. i dont wanna use the blender in the kitchen. dah blend cili ape bagai sume. okla....korek punye korek lagi kat store... ade blender baru....Sharp....xpela...gune jela nie sementara.... suddenly mama said "ehhhh lupe! atuk dulu ade belikan tokma Braun konon2 nak buat cake, tapi x gune2....cube carik dlm store tue." Aha! Got it! Tested it and yayyyyy! bisa diguna! so.... mommy will use this Braun Multiquick Artiste/Professional Hand Blender tomorrow. hehehe lega sudah.... kalo x...x pasal2 kene lenyek ngan lesung batu! hahahhaha.
ok...end of bebelan for today. will update more about the BIG day ermmm...maybe monday?

Boring...

Boringnye..... when can we have another family vacation? last skalik rasenye gi nexus karambunai i think.... that was a few weeks before i found out that i was pregnant! ehem ehem. A nice short trip when my brain was about to explode meng'audit' satu Board nie...

Abah plans for another family vacation...Pangkor Laut. tapi abah kate bile Adief dah boleh betul2 duduk...xmo pakai bumbo seat dia. aihhhhhhh...bile tue abah???

Chatting2 ngan Hani.... talked about handbags....diaper bags and bla bla bla. Kak Sue gave me OiOi Diaper Bag and I like it! So kalo nak gi mane2....bag tue leh isik barang2 Adief. Abah bought me a big C**** handbag when I was pregnant. dia kate leh buat diaper bag aka beg melaram jugak :))

Well...it has been 4 1/2 months since Adief popped out from my tummy and I haven't finished using all the baby products given by uncles and aunties mcm shampoo2...baby bath etc. clothes and toys sume sudah selamat. ah ha! there's a playpen...x gune lagi. yela nak buat ape gune skang ye tak? Adief bukan leh merangkak agik pon. Auntie Nor gave me the playpen sbb dia ingat manela tau kot pasnie nak pegi Europe semule ke....so Adief leh duk dlm tue bile mommy masak ke ape. hm...haven't decided yet....

We went to The Gardens and Midvalley last Sunday to buy a new changing mat sbb yg lame dah koyak yeeeeeeeeeeee. aiyoooo manyak ganas ini budak! OU yg depan umah nie xnak pegi....ngade nak pegi yg jauh. hahahhahah. Entered Mothercare and bought the changing mat...another Dr. Brown bottle and teats for his age (tatau ape motif padahal Adief x minum susu pakai bottles pon)...and socks. Then we had our lunch at San Francisco Steakhouse where I had my favourite T-bone medium-well steak. Hm..I still like the T-bone steak at Monte's Bangsar Shopping Centre. And the virgin pina colada there? hm...x sedap! kesimpulannye agaknye tue our last visit ke San Francisco Steakhouse. On our way home....abah membebel kate adik punye idea la nie pegi The Gardens ngan Midvalley nie! ahhahhaha. Abah x pernah suke pergi kat tempat yg ramai org. That's why he doesn't like Mega sales ka...apa ka.... dia kate semak! hahahhaha. he prefers to go to shopping malls mase bukan sales. hailahhhh...kite nak shopping laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Mama kate since pregnant sampaila skang...I don't really care about myself. hahahhaha. As a result, she bought me a few belts from DP and Warehouse this morning since I like to wear tight, wide belts (saje nak bg nampak kurus sket n nak cover perot hahahah). Tq mama. Muah muah. okla..t.tamat sudah sesi bosan saye. time to play with Adief. btw... Kerol Laling, our hero now knows how to play all the toys. and thank you sayang for the E71 handphone. really love it!
