Kerol Laling lovesss to eat this wutever sotong. I know him as 'org Kelantan yg x byk makanan Kelantan yang dia suke'. he doesn't like nasi kerabu..nasi dagang...jala emas....ape agik ntah. But he likesss BUDU hehhehehe. In fact...i like budu too! his FIL and MIL aka my parents like to layan his tekak. My dad bought him this Budu Diraja? and Murtabak Diraja? mcm2 name! hahhahaha. he always buy him his favourite ikan keli sambal. Now... he is not here with us.... but still...name dia mesti kuar tiap kali makan ikan keli or budu. hahahahhaha. i'm 100% sure ur air liur tgh meleleh kan bang? hahahhah.

ok back to this wutever sotong. He told me (mase lom kawen) that he likes to eat this wutever sotong. so... I made him this wutever sotong when he came back to Malaysia during summer break (cinta itu buta hahahhah). I was still studying at MMU back then bukan Dublin. Sanggup tue! balik rumah nak buat this wutever sotong! hahahhahah. he liked it! katenye laaaaaaaaaaaaaa. tataula kot kelentong jek...yela zaman ngorat kannnnn. hahahhaha. i didn't know that Kelantanese always use small/medium sized sotong to make this wutever sotong. I used big sized sotong at that time. dia kate ok.....xpela! hehehheheh.

hm....dont know why... tapi rase mcm nak buat la utk abg mase abg balik nanti. baik kan? heheheh. tue pon kalo mama bg masuk dapo laaaaaaaaaaaaaa. boleh ke? he will be here in Malaysia 2 days before the operation. mcm agak susah jek mama nak bg...kan? kan? xpela... i'll make sure that somebody will help me to prepare this wutever sotong for you darling. so...talking about this wutever sotong.....this is the recipe. i took the simplest recipe. mmg x kuase la kan nak pening2 pale at that time. ahahahha.

bahan-bahan :
Sotong : sederhana besar, 7-8 ekor (terpulang)
Beras pulut : basuh bersih-bersih dan rendamkan seketika
(tujuannya agar bila masak cepat masak)
Garam : secubit garam
Santan : 1-1/2 biji kelapa....biarkan lemak.
Daun pandan : 3-4 helai
Gula Melaka : 5-6 keping yang kecil
Gula : segenggam gula.
Cara-caranya:-
  • Sotong dibuang segala isi perut, dan buangkan kulitnya. Kalau tak buang, nanti kuah jadi seakan-akan warna merah....tak cantik.
  • Sumbatkan beras pulut separuh badan. Sebab kalau penuh nanti perutnya pecah..tak tahu mana pulut, mana badan nanti.
  • Masukkan sotong dalam kuali yang sederhana besar.
  • Masukkan santan, garam, gula melaka, gula, dan daun pandan sekali.
  • Biarkan ia masak sampai kuahnya betul-betul pekat.
  • Pastikan anda kacau selalu sbb ianya mudah jadi berkerak. Nanti tak sedap.
  • Oh ya...kalau nampak kuah tu tak pekat, lebihan dari beras pulut tadi, masukkkan je...biarkan ia masak sekali.
  • Nanti kuah kita akan jadi pekat. Tapi harus diingat berasnya janganlah terlampau banyak...nanti lain jadinya...
